The season eight of Scrubs, started on 6th January, 2009 is currently running and is expected to air around eighteen episodes.

The new chief of medicine at the Sacred Heart is Dr. Taylor Maddox (Courtney Cox) and she chucks out the Janitor from his jobwhen she finds him perturbing J.D. Dr. Cox goes up to Dr, Kelso to seek support for getting Dr. Maddox out from the hospital and he does suggest Dr. Cox for the job.
