Life
Reyes is of Dominican descent and has four sisters including a twin sister, Joselin. Her acting career started from Hunter College, Manhattan. Reyes lives in Los Angeles but is in touch always with her roots in New York.
Career
Reyes has worked on shows The Sopranos, Oz, The Fuzz Show, 100 Centre Street etc but her best work till date has been on the comedy drama Scrubs ( 2001- present).
The TV movies in which she worked include Mind Prey, The Prosecutors, Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story and Our House. Other feature films in which Reyes has worked in are Bringing Out the Dead, Be Back by Five, Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God, Washington Heights. She co – produced and acted in the short film, Taino.

Scrubs
On Scrubs, Reyes enacts the role of the head nurse of Sacred Heart Hospital, Carla Espinosa who often over reacts and tends to make people run their life her way. Although her interference is never welcome, most of the times she does seem to be right. She marries Dr. Christopher Turk after dating him for a while and both have a daughter named Isabella.
